As the mother of three wonderful daughters (two grown and my seven year old, "the baby"), photographing children is a special joy for me.
You may notice "the baby" in many of the images on this site. She is my funny, sweet, and sometimes exasperating inspiration - a great reminder of the wide variety of emotions a child experiences. She's a unique individual yet everyday she will have an expression, make a silly face, or say something in a certain manner that will take me back to a moment with one of her older sisters!
I love going through family pictures that show the older girls growing up. A smile on my face as I remember how one would curl up with her books for hours on end and how seriously the other took her singing, even as a preschooler when her microphone was a handy hairbrush.
In March 2004 my oldest daughter gave birth to a son and I had the joyful experience of spending time with my newborn grandson. The images I was able to capture of this precious little boy and his relationship with his mama are new additions to our family treasures.
Goofy, serious, inquisitive, laughing, pensive - all the moods of childhood are fascinating and waiting to be recorded as images your family will treasure for a lifetime. I'd like to help add to your family history treasure trove with unique portraiture of your child.
